Did you know that one in ten of our South Carolina neighbors, including almost 150,000 children, face hunger or food insecurity daily? For over 10 years, as a church we have sponsored 1-2 schools and sent a bag of food home weekly for a child for the weekend. These children eat at school, but the weekend is a gap that their parents may not be able to fill. We can provide 2 suppers, 2 lunches, 2 breakfasts, and 4 small snacks. The average cost is $5 per bag. Jill Sisk heads up this ministry along with volunteers. You can donate one time, or regularly throughout the year.
