Well, summer is over and school has started back. Let’s continue to pray for our children and all those who work, teach, and administrate in our schools.I am looking forward to watching the Lord work at Fairview during the month of September through our Sunday School teachers and all those who have so graciously volunteered to faithfully serve this blessed church. I am so thankful that we are blessed with a great staff. And even though Lee James has been our youth director for 5 years, it is with great joy that I say he is no longer part time but now full time at Fairview as we welcome Lee as our Associate Pastor of Family Ministries which he will begin the first Sunday in October. It is wonderful that so many of you have trusted Christ as your Lord and Savior. So with that being said, I want to encourage you to be a part of our discipleship class taught by Brother Dennis Hall, one of our deacons and a strong faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ. The class starts this Sunday, September 2nd at 9:30 AM in the library and will last for 5-7 weeks. It is your choice as to whether or not you attend this discipleship class, but it will help you to understand better your decision to follow the Lord. Please remember that on September 30th, we will have the great privilege of ordaining as deacons, Tony Riddle and Travis Childers. Pray for these faithful men as they serve here at Fairview. Let us continue to work and serve together for His glory, honor, and praise!!
