It is May already! Wow, it’s hard to believe, but here we are doing ministry together in the month of May. May is going to be a great blessing as we make preparations for our 100th Anniversary Cele-bration on June 24th.
We will have the opportunity during this month to hear some more preachers who were called to preach here at Fairview. On Sunday night, May 6th, Dr. David Lancaster and his church choir will be here. Brother David was saved, called, licensed to preach, ordained, and sent out from Fairview Baptist Church. The Lord has used Brother David in a mighty way. On Sunday night, May 20th, we will have Brother Keith Davis, pastor of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Spartanburg, preaching to us. It will be a blessing to hear him preach the Word. On Sunday night, May 27th, we look forward to hearing Brother Any case preach the Word and his wife, Melissa, will be singing. I know you are as excited as I am about the preach-ers coming to be with us. It is going to be a wonderful time as we worship the Lord together.
This month, we will also have the great opportunity to recognize our Mother’s to let them all know how much we appreciate them. On May 12th, at 6:00 PM, we will once again have our Ladies Banquet. It will be a blessing as you will have good food, great singing, and a wonderful speaker. Mrs. Brenda Tucker will share and help you in your walk with the Lord. I pray you will sign-up on the sheet in the back hall. All ladies, teens, and girls, are invited to attend!
We will also be recognizing our graduates on May 20th. What a blessing to be able to be a part of our graduate’s momentous celebration. Praise the Lord!
As you can see, there is a lot happening in May and that is a great blessing. The Lord has blessed and is blessing Fairview, and I be-lieve that He will continue to do so as we strive to work together for His glory. Preacher Ty
