As I sat down to write my article for the month of March, I write with joy and excitement because on this day, February 26, 2019, Kristen Childers, our daughter-in-law, gave birth to our sixth grandchild. His name is Hayden Blake and was born at 11:39 am. We are so thankful and blessed. Praise the Lord!! I am also excited about our upcoming Sunday School Teacher and Assistant Teacher Luncheon. Thank you Randy and Linda for putting this event together. Randy Emory is our Sunday School director and I appreciate the great job he is doing. Starting Sunday, March 3rd at 5:30 pm, Lee James our Associate Pastor of Family Ministries, will be teaching the Art of Parenting class. I hope and pray you have signed up for this class. It will be worth your time. At 6:00 pm Sunday evening, I will begin a series on the Old Testament Book of Daniel. We will not hurry through this wonderful book, but learn and grow in the Lord through the preaching and the teaching of God’s precious Word. I want to tell all of you, that no matter in whatever position you serve here at Fairview, I appreciate all you do and I know as we continue to serve our wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we will continue to go forward in His name.
