February was a short, but good, month at Fairview Baptist Church. I would have to say February 2018 will most likely be remembered because of the home-going of Evangelist and America’s Pastor, Billy Graham. I am so blessed to know that God took a man like Billy Graham, just an ordinary man, and did extraordinary works in and through him.
He was not perfect, but he stayed faithful and he “finished well.” I could not even began to calculate how many people have been saved through the years, because of the faithful, biblical preaching of the Gospel all over the world by a man called by God to take His good news to the world. Billy Graham did that. Praise the Lord!! I hope you are preparing for our Old Timey Day coming up April 8th. It is going to be a great weekend. On April 7th, at 7:00 pm, we will have “the Children of the Promise” singing for us. Sunday morning, Dr. Dwight Easler will be preaching, the Fairview Choir, AND The Children of the Promise will be singing. After the service, we will eat together, then, go to the place where Fairview Baptist started and had their first service in 1918. I pray you are as excited as I am. This is going to be great!! On March 18th, during the evening service, Dr. Mike Davis will be preaching here at Fairview. You do not want to miss these men of God who will be preaching each month on Sunday nights. They were called to preach and were sent out from Fairview and are still faithful for the glory of God. Pray for them that God will continue to use them for His glory, honor, and praise. I look forward to all God has in store for us this month ……...Preacher Ty
